Jim has no formal training in photography.  Practice has nurtured his talent.  His computer is his darkroom where his creativity may run wild as it has recently with his interest in digital paintings and illustrations, that start with his photographic images.

Jim came to Walla Walla as a high school outreach specialist for Walla Walla Community College.  He has been a vendor at the Downtown Walla Walla Farmers Market for several years and his note cards are found in three Walla Walla shops.  His prints are found in several Walla Walla businesses and homes, as well as in several Portland, Oregon businesses.
