Bob Baker

Return to Members-Galleries

Robert Baker was born in Stockton, CA, in 1941 and moved to Walla Walla WA in 1953. He has been interested in photography since he received his first camera, a simple box type, at the age of 10. He joined the Blue Mountain Photo Club in 1997, and began to take a more serious approach to his photography, learning continually from the club’s very experienced and skilled photographers.

While in the beginning Robert shot with cameras using slide film, he currently shoots with Canon digital cameras and does his printing on an Epson photo printer. With his current focus on landscapes, wildflowers, and the flower he plants in his own yard, Robert’s work can be viewed at the Fenton-Stahl Gallery (prints and cards), Willow Gallery cards, and in the homes of his four children.
